Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of GigOps. Please read them carefully before creating an account.

Last updated: June 28, 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the GigOps platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using GigOps on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use GigOps. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time — continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Accounts & Access

To use GigOps, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
  • Keep your password confidential and not share account access with unauthorized parties
  • Notify us immediately via our secure contact form if you suspect unauthorized access
  • Be solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Not create accounts for the purpose of circumventing plan limits or restrictions

Each subscription covers one DJ operator account. Agency plan seats are governed by the Agency plan terms described at signup.

Acceptable Use

GigOps is built for professional DJ and event management use. You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or any content that could harm the platform or other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on GigOps
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercialize access to GigOps without written permission
  • Use the platform to harass, abuse, or harm any person
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards without prior notice.

Subscriptions & Billing

GigOps offers subscription plans (Free, Starter, Pro, Agency) with the pricing and features described on our pricing page. By subscribing to a paid plan:

  • You authorize GigOps to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Paid plans include a 30-day free trial for new subscribers — your card is not charged until the trial ends
  • Downgrading or cancelling does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already charged (see our Refund Policy for exceptions)
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' advance notice

All billing is handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service in addition to ours. We do not store your raw payment card data.

Intellectual Property

GigOps and all related software, content, branding, and technology are the exclusive property of GigOps and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without written permission.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use GigOps solely for your legitimate DJ business operations in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include any resale, commercial redistribution, or sublicensing rights.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to GigOps — including event details, client information, music preferences, and any other data you enter. By using GigOps, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • You have the right to upload and use all content you submit to GigOps
  • Your use of client data complies with applicable privacy laws
  • You have obtained appropriate consent from clients whose personal data you submit

Upon account termination or deletion, your content will be removed within 30 days. We recommend exporting any important data before closing your account.

Disclaimers

GigOps is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

AI-generated content (event briefs, timeline suggestions, playlist ideas) is provided as assistance only and should be reviewed before use. GigOps does not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of AI outputs for any specific event.

We are not responsible for any decisions made based on information provided by GigOps, or for the outcome of any events managed using the platform.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GigOps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to GigOps in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of implied warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if:

  • You violate these Terms of Service
  • Your payment is past due and not resolved within a reasonable period
  • We determine that your use poses a risk to the platform or other users
  • We discontinue the Service (with reasonable advance notice)

Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law survive termination.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.

By using GigOps, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts for any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service.
