Overview

GigOps operates on a subscription model. This Refund Policy explains how charges work, when refunds are available, and how to request one. Our goal is to make the financial relationship with GigOps transparent and fair.

All billing is processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to both our Terms of Service and this Refund Policy.

Free Trial

All paid plans (Starter, Pro, and Agency) include a 30-day free trial for new subscribers.

  • Your credit card is required to start a paid trial, but you will not be charged until the trial period ends
  • If you cancel before the 30-day trial expires, you will not be charged — ever
  • Free trial access grants full plan features for the duration of the trial period
  • Trial eligibility is limited to one per person/business — we reserve the right to end trials for accounts we determine are abusing this policy

The Free plan requires no credit card and incurs no charges at any time.

Subscription Billing

After your trial period ends, your subscription renews automatically on a monthly basis:

  • Billing occurs on the same calendar date each month (the date your trial ended or you first subscribed)
  • You will receive an email receipt from Stripe after each charge
  • Prices are in USD. International users may see currency conversion fees from their card issuer
  • If a payment fails, we will retry the charge and notify you via email — unresolved failures may result in account suspension
  • We will provide 30 days' advance notice of any price changes to existing subscribers

Cancellation

You can cancel your GigOps subscription at any time from your account settings — no phone calls, no forms, no friction.

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain full access to your plan features until the period ends
  • After cancellation, your account will downgrade to the Free plan (1 active event limit)
  • Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation in case you choose to reactivate
  • After 90 days of inactivity on a cancelled account, data may be permanently deleted

To cancel: go to Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel Plan. You may also contact us via our Contact page.

Refund Eligibility

We review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Refunds may be granted in the following circumstances:

  • You were charged in error (e.g. a duplicate charge, billing system error)
  • You were charged after cancelling within the same billing cycle and the cancellation was confirmed by our system
  • You contact us within 7 days of your first paid charge and have not substantially used the platform during that period
  • A significant service outage directly impacted your ability to use GigOps for a substantial portion of a paid billing period (evaluated per incident)

We want you to be happy with GigOps. If something isn't right, please reach out before your billing cycle renews — we'd rather work with you than lose you as a customer.

Non-Refundable Cases

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Charges for completed billing cycles where the service was available and accessible
  • Partial-month refunds for mid-cycle cancellations (your access continues until the period ends)
  • Requests made more than 30 days after a charge
  • Accounts that have violated our Terms of Service
  • Dissatisfaction with specific features that were available and functioning as described
  • Free trial periods (the trial is free — there is nothing to refund)

If you're unsure whether your situation qualifies, contact us — we'll always review it fairly.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  • Submit a request via our Contact page with the subject 'Refund Request'
  • Include your account email address and the charge date/amount in question
  • Briefly describe the reason for the request
  • We will respond within 2 business days with a decision
  • Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank

We do not process refunds via any method other than returning funds to the original payment source.
