GigOps ("we," "us," or "our") operates the GigOps platform — event management software built for professional DJs. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use, store, and protect it.

By using GigOps, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the service.

We collect information in two ways: information you provide directly, and information collected automatically.

Information You Provide

• Account registration details: full name, email address, and password
• Business information: DJ company name, phone number, website, and business address
• Billing information: handled securely by Stripe — we never store raw card data
• Event data: client names, wedding dates, venue details, music preferences, and planning notes
• Client portal submissions: information your clients enter on their planning forms
• Communications: messages you send us via support, contact forms, or in-app chat

Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration, and button interactions
• Device and browser information: browser type, operating system, and screen resolution
• IP address and approximate geographic location (city/region level only)
• Log data: timestamps, error logs, and platform performance metrics

We use collected information to:

• Provide and operate the GigOps platform and its features
• Process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe
• Send transactional emails: receipts, planning reminders, and account notifications
• Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues
• Improve our product based on usage patterns and feedback
• Send product updates or marketing communications (only with your consent — unsubscribe anytime)

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles. We do not share your clients' event data with third parties for commercial purposes.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Upon account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
